How to downgrade any itune version choice the process is the same, follow the steps and it will give you the result you want
For Windows Users :
- Uninstall
iTunes 12.1 completely, including all its components like iCloud, Apple
Mobile Device Support, and Apple Application Support. The process will
be hindered by any files or components that are left out, so make sure
to do a clean uninstall.
- You will then need to change the
extension of the iTunes Library.itl file. Change the extension to iTunes
Library.bak. You will find this file in Windows in C:\Users\[pc
name]\Music\iTunes.
- Now Restart your Windows computer. This is a compulsory step, so don’t skip it.
- Now install iTunes 12.0.1 from these links. Windows 32-bit | Windows 64-bit.
For Mac Users :
- Go to pacifist.com to download Pacifist. Once downloaded, install it.
- If iTunes is running already on your Mac, quit it and all its traces by using the Activity Monitor.
- Now go here to download the older iTunes 12.0.1 for OS X. Once it is downloaded, mount it, but do not proceed to install it yet.
- Now launch Pacifist which you installed in step 1.
- Click
on the Open Package button. Now under the Devices section that you can
see in the side bar on the left-hand side, click on iTunes. Then select
the Install iTunes option, subsequently clicking on Open that you can
see at the bottom on the right-hand side.
- Once every thing is
loaded, click the Contents of Install iTunes option and then click on
the Install button in the top bar. Follow the prompts that show up on
the screen until the installation starts.
- After several seconds
or a couple minutes, a box will come up saying that Application already
exists. Just check the box that says Don’t ask again for this
installation and click on the Replace button.
- Now wait for the installation to complete. Once completed, iTunes 12.0.1 will be installed.
